Fall produce

Several hard frosts have put an end to almost all our garden produce. The other evening I sauteed the last fennel and cooked one more rutabaga. Today we made parsley pesto and might get more before it succumbs. Super storm Sandy didn’t do any damage to our property but knocked out the power for five days. Fortunately we finished a kiln load before the storm’s full force hit. We’ve had some wonderful new fused pieces to pack for fall exhibits, including . . .
